Her cute looks would beguile anyone of her superhuman strength that often bewilders people who interact with her. A wonder robot created by Vikram, Karishma, however, is incapable of showing real emotions and speaks in a monotone.
Vikram surprises his wife Sheetal and son Rahul with Karishma who can easily pass off as human. Karishma does not generate any human emotions and interprets commands literally, the only flaws that would betray the fact of her being a machine. Yet, as the family desperately tries to conceal Karishma’s identity, the adorable robot sashays through mundane situations with her formidable memory and potency.
Vikram his wife Sheetal and their son Rahul are one happy family. However, one fine day, Vikram's behaviour suddenly starts changing. He starts going out in the middle of the night and coming back the next day. Sheetal is worried and speaks about her concern to her neighbour Shraddha who, in turn, tells her that Vikram must be having an affair with another woman, thereby adding to Sheetal's fears. Vikram, however, is secretly working on inventing a robot. Lots of confusion follows and finally, Vikram surprises his family by presenting the robot to them. His wife and son are overjoyed to see the robot and name her Karishma.
In their curiosity to find out who Krishma really is, Shraddha and her husband Paresh plant a woman who poses to be Karishma's mother. The woman threatens to go to the police if Vikram doesn’t give her daughter back to her. How Vikram takles the situation and foils Shraddha and Paresh's plan is presented hilariously in the rest of the episode.
Vikram's maternal aunt Madhu pays him an abrupt visit. She wonders at the unusual behaviour of Karishma. The family leaves no stone unturned to keep Karishma's truth a secret. Will Madhu ever accept Karishma's strange behaviour? Will Vikram be successful in hiding Karishma's identity?
Sheetal complains to Shraddha that within a week's time her air conditioner, microwave oven and mixing grinder have stopped functioning. Shraddha feels that it is all because of the evil spirits. In spite of Sheetal's apathy, Dr. Antrish Kumar, a baba capable of handling spirits is invited to their residence by Shraddha. How will Rakesh and Sheetal get rid of that baba?
Rahul gets insulted by his mathematics teacher in class for scoring a zero in his test. Sweety, his classmate, gets on his nerve to teach him mathematics. To get rid of her and to compensate for the insult in class, Rahul gets his homework done by Karishma. The teacher praises him and calls Rakesh to report Rahul's improvement. Meanwhile, the neighbours hatch a plot to find out Karishma's identity. Will Rakesh and Sheetal understand their plot? Will Rahul realize his mistake?
Sheetal falls ill and Shraddha takes advantage of this situation and sends a spy in the form of a servant named Pyare Mohan to aid Sheetal in her household chores. Pyare Mohan learns about the financial status of Vikram when he chats with his client on financial matters. Pyare Mohan is in dire need of money to pay off his debt and therefore, kidnaps Karishma to receive money in exchange from Vikram. Will he be successful?
Some underworld goons visit Vikram's residence and threaten him to leave his house as they need the land for their project. When Vikram does not pay heed to their threats, they hold him and his family hostage in their own house. How will Vikram get rid of them?
To protect Karishma from damage due to Holi colours, the family tells neighbors Shraddha and Paresh that she is going to the house of Vikram's aunt to celebrate Holi. However, the aunt herself lands up at Vikram's residence. Shraddha and Paresh gift Rakesh and Sheetal a box of sweets containing 'bhaang' so that, after consuming those sweets, they speak up the truth about Karishma. Will Shraddha and Paresh's plan succeed? How will the family protect Karishma?
When Sheetal's neighbor Shraddha asks her why Karishma has not gone to school, she absent-mindedly answers that Karishma never goes to school! This gives Shraddha a good opportunity to get to the truth about Karishma and the next day, she sends Mrs. Bharucha, the president of the Nanhe Nagrik Association which takes action against injustice done to children, to her residence. Mrs. Bharucha blames Vikram for depriving Karishma of school education. How will Vikram tackle this new problem?
Rahul is jealous of Karishma as he feels that she is given more importance and appreciation than him. Sweety adds oil to the fire by asking him to fight for his rights. Vikram's boss asks him to keep his favorite statue safe with him for some time. Rahul accidentally breaks it and Karishma witnesses this act. How will Rahul prevent Karishma from disclosing the truth to his parents? Will his jealousy ever disappear?
